July Wrap Up

Now that I have wrapped up June, let’s wrap up July!

Life

At the beginning of the month, I spent some time with my Grammy. We did some room shopping, and we sewed a dress as well as baked banana bread and normal break. On July 4th, my family ran the local race, continuing a family tradition. My family went to a couple of MLB baseball games this month! Aside from the heat, those were pretty fun! Later that week, I spent the week at the beach on a retreat with my youth group. It was a fun 6 days of beach, worship, learning, exploration, dancing, laughter, and some tears. I am so thankful for the experience and the amazing people in my youth group! 💖 I also got the chance to go to our local water park with them and do swing dancing together (not at the water park 😂😉). My family traveled to Ohio for a family reunion. It was an interesting and cool experience! I had a team XC run on a trail near a friend’s neighborhood and breakfast and pool time afterwards. Speaking of XC, I feel like I really got into a running rhythm this month which is great! I continued bible study this month. Unfortunately, I have stopped doing gymnastics for now for a variety of reasons. I am a little bumbed about it, but it kinda seemed like the best decision.

Pictures

Sorry if the pictures are formatted a little weird. I am trying something new since I am out of storage space.

I made a fairy garden with my Grammy
Saw a very vibrant rainbow
4th of July Fireworks…on the 3rd 😂
There was a rubber duck claw machine at one of the places we ate at at the beach and my friend got a LOT of ducks!
This is the 2000-piece puzzle we worked on at the beach. Not only were there a lot of missing pieces, but there were also a lot of pieces that went to other puzzles.
The beautiful view from our house
I got out one of Silas’ toys that had been packed away for quite a few years and he is so happy!
I made a trip to Kohl’s and found this nice dress that I might wear to homecoming. It was on clearance, and we had a coupon, so it ended up only being about $8 I think.
While we were in Ohio, we stopped by Graeter’s to get some yummy ice cream. If you are ever going through Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana, see if you will be close to a Graeter’s. If so, stop by and get some ice cream!

Books

I started and finished The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares during the first half of July. It doesn’t beat the KOTLC series, but I still really liked it!

  1. I’m guessing the pictures are not working here either; is that right? I have a plan to try to fix this problem, but I haven’t had the chance to try it.
